Six features that fully digitize your fueling process.

Everything small and mid-size fleets need — no fuel-card logistics, no receipt pile-ups, no Excel exports from a clunky card portal.

Paperless

Your drivers pay directly from the app. No physical card, no glove-box receipt folders, no manual expense reports. Every fueling event is visible in the dashboard the moment it happens.

Digital invoice management

For every fueling the system automatically creates a tax-compliant digital receipt with date, station, litres, fuel type and gross amount.

Manage everything centrally

One login for the web dashboard, one app for your drivers. See every fueling event in real time, manage per-driver limits, lock or reactivate access with a single click.

Tax-compliant export

With one click you export all receipts as a ZIP file with a PDF summary and individual receipts — ready to forward to your accountant.

Secure mobile payments

Payments are released by Face ID or fingerprint. If a phone is lost, access stays locked and the account stays secure. No PIN, no card number in circulation.

Tax export in detail

Monthly receipt export. One click, ready for your accounting team.

Your accounting team no longer has to retype receipts. The dashboard generates a monthly ZIP file with a summary (PDF) and all individual receipts — ready to forward to your accounting team.

  • Tax-compliant export: ZIP file with a PDF summary of all fuelings and individual receipts — importable into any accounting system.
  • Per-receipt PDFs: One digital receipt per fueling event with station address, fuel type, litres and gross/net amount.
  • VAT correctly itemised: Input-tax amounts are separated; the breakdown follows German tax law (§ 14 UStG).

Acceptance network

Over 10.751 stations across 9 European countries.

DKV InstantFuel's acceptance network is built on the PACE network. The live map shows exactly which stations are included — searchable by address or postal code.

  • Germanyapprox. 4.579
  • Austriaapprox. 784
  • Netherlandsapprox. 1.375
  • Belgiumapprox. 639
  • Luxembourgapprox. 45
  • Franceapprox. 319
  • Italyapprox. 2.181

Frequently asked questions

Three questions that come up in most first conversations with fleet managers — plus one on coverage.

What is DATEV — and do I need it?

For now we export receipts as a ZIP file with a PDF summary and individual receipts — this works with any accounting software and your tax advisor. A native DATEV direct import is in preparation. We announce updates via the newsletter.

How secure is payment in the app?

Payment is confirmed with a personal PIN that only the driver knows. The credit card itself is not stored on the device — it is held server-side and tokenised. If a smartphone is lost, the account can be locked instantly from the dashboard.

What if my home station isn't in the network?

Before activating, check your most-used routes on the live map. If an important station is missing, report it via the support form — we evaluate inclusion together with the station partners. The network grows continuously; new locations are added every month.

Does DKV InstantFuel work abroad?

Yes. Payments run through the same app in every country. Receipts are automatically issued in the respective local currency — e.g. Polish Złoty or Danish Krone. For fueling in Italy, France, the Netherlands and Belgium, we apply the reverse-charge VAT procedure for companies based in those countries — the receipt is then issued net.
