DKV InstantFuel is a purely digital solution for your fuel management. You replace physical fuel cards with the app and a central web dashboard. This allows you to manage, control, and export all your team's fuel transactions 100% digitally.

Good to know: DKV InstantFuel is based on the technology and acceptance network of PACE Mobility GmbH. For you, this means that this product gives you targeted access to the fuel stations in the PACE network. Other DKV services or fuel stations outside this network are not part of the DKV InstantFuel contract.

DKV InstantFuel is a “Bring Your Own Credit Card” solution that is ready to use immediately. You register your company credit card as the central payment method. A classic DKV fuel card, on the other hand, offers its own DKV credit limit (subject to credit check) and results in a bundled DKV collective invoice. DKV InstantFuel is the fastest way to digital receipt management.

The solution is ideal for smaller companies and teams (1-20 drivers) who want to digitize their fuel receipt management quickly and easily. You can get started right away, as no additional verification is required.

DKV InstantFuel is a flexible service that is billed on a per-driver basis. You pay €2.49 (net) per month per active driver. All fuel purchases made by your team are billed directly to the company credit card you have stored in the dashboard.

You automatically receive a digital receipt that complies with tax office requirements for each transaction. In the DKV InstantFuel dashboard, you can download all receipts and transaction data as a tax-compliant export (e.g., a clearly structured PDF list) for your accounting department or tax advisor.

As a manager, you retain full control in the dashboard. You can deactivate a driver at any time with a single click. Their access to the shared company payment method is then blocked in real time.

Not necessarily. Your drivers can also install the DKV InstantFuel app on their personal smartphones. The app only allows the company payment method to be stored in the app account.

Classic fuel cards typically work with card fees and transaction surcharges on the fuel price — exact amounts vary by provider and contract. DKV InstantFuel is fully digital: no plastic card, no credit line, no credit check. Flat rate €2.49/driver/month, fueling runs directly via your corporate credit card.

Yes, the acceptance network currently covers 9 countries: Germany, Austria, the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, France, Italy, Poland and Denmark. The live map shows the actually integrated stations. Important: the DKV InstantFuel acceptance network is smaller than that of the classic DKV fuel card. For trips abroad please check the map in advance or look up suitable stations directly in the app.

Yes. All receipts meet the mandatory fields required by German §14 UStG and are stored in a tax-compliant manner: complete, contemporaneous, tamper-proof with audit trail. The 10-year retention requirement is met automatically. The monthly receipt export ZIP contains a PDF summary plus all individual receipts — compatible with any accounting system.

The app needs an internet connection at the pump (short 3G/4G pings are enough for tokenisation). In the rare case of a complete connection loss, the driver falls back to another payment method and the transaction is not billed via DKV InstantFuel retroactively. In practice 99.8 % of fueling events go through without issues.

Register in the dashboard (2 min), add a corporate credit card (1 min), invite drivers via link (1 min per driver), driver installs the app and signs in (2 min). First fueling at an DKV InstantFuel station: another 2 min. Realistically about 5 minutes from first click to first app payment — no credit check, no card shipping.

The dashboard shows all active drivers. New drivers register via a single universal invite link — you confirm each driver with one click. Drivers leaving the company are deactivated with one click as well. Per-driver cost-centre assignment is planned as a paid add-on but not yet available.

For now the acceptance network is focused on stations with fossil fuels (diesel, petrol, HVO 100) and AdBlue. Charging for BEVs is in preparation. We announce updates via our newsletter — you can subscribe on the website.
